There is something about Christmas that we look forward to long before it actually arrives. That is what I see in this little fairy. The tiny transparent Christmas tree in her hands is only about 2 cm tall, but to me it holds all that anticipation – that little reminder that Christmas is coming.

I wanted her to have an elegant side too, so I swept her hair into a small bun and added a trail of sparkling crystals through it. With her soft layered dress and that tiny tree in her hands, she feels like a little piece of Christmas itself.
There is only one exactly like her. I create every little Christmas fairy individually, so her dress, hair and tiny details will never be repeated in quite the same way.
She would make a lovely Christmas gift or a unique Secret Santa present for someone who loves handmade decorations that are a little different.
