The Scorpio Woman

A Scorpio woman doesn’t necessarily need to be loud to get noticed. Sometimes she attracts attention simply by refusing to do what everyone else is doing.

If everyone arrives dressed in glittering gowns, she might be the one who turns up in something completely simple – and wears it as though it were the most beautiful dress in the room. She doesn’t try to be different just to attract attention. She simply doesn’t ask permission to be herself.

There is drama in her too, but it isn’t the same kind of drama as Leo’s. She doesn’t necessarily stand in the middle of the room and make sure everyone hears what she thinks. Sometimes a look, a small gesture, or deliberately refusing to follow what everyone else expects is enough.

And at the same time, she can be charming, sweet and look completely innocent.

But Scorpio has a sting.

She doesn’t necessarily use it. But if someone gives her a good enough reason, she remembers very quickly that it’s there.

She can be the sweetest little thing in the room. Just don’t give her a reason to sting.

When I created this Scorpio fairy, this is the woman I had in mind. Perhaps you know one. Perhaps you are one.

Why These Colours?

The colour palette of each of my 12 Star Sign Fairies is inspired by the main and lucky colours traditionally associated with that particular star sign. The deep reds, blacks and darker shades of this Scorpio fairy are therefore no accident.

The colours connect her to her star sign, while the delicate details and overall appearance give her the romantic, vintage feel that characterises the Star Sign Fairy collection. But for me, the colours are only the beginning.

I’m not trying to turn a horoscope description into a sculpture. I want to show the woman I see behind each star sign.

She Has Her Own Name

In my fairy world, each of the twelve Star Sign Fairies has her own fairy name. The Scorpio fairy is called Shadowheart.

Her name is part of my little fairy world. But above all, she is a handmade Scorpio Fairy in which you might recognise yourself – or a woman you know well.

A Little Sculpture – Only One of Its Kind

I shape and assemble every fairy individually by hand. Her dress, hair, wings and tiny details give each piece its own character. That means no two fairies are ever exactly alike.

I may create another Scorpio fairy, but there will never be another one exactly like this.

This is a decorative fairy sculpture created for indoor display only – perfect for a shelf, mantelpiece, display cabinet or a special little place in the home where she can truly stand out.
