The Gemini Woman

It’s almost as if two different women live inside a Gemini woman.

One is sweet, charming and almost angelic. The other is mischievous, clever and unpredictable – and sometimes her little devil comes out too.

But which one is the real her?

Both.

That’s exactly why I created my Gemini fairy as two figures. I didn’t want to show two separate fairies, but the two sides of the same woman.

She loves people, conversation, company and being where things are happening. It’s difficult not to notice when she arrives. And just when you think you’ve finally figured her out, she can easily show you her other side.

Perhaps that’s one of the best things about her.

You don’t have to decide which side you love.

Love them both – they’re both her.

When I created this Gemini fairy, this is the woman I had in mind.

Perhaps you know one.

Why These Colours?

The colour palette of each of my 12 Star Sign Fairies is inspired by the main and lucky colours traditionally associated with that particular star sign.

The colours of this Gemini fairy are therefore no accident. They connect her to her star sign, while the delicate details and overall appearance give the piece the romantic, vintage feel that characterises the Star Sign Fairy collection.

But for me, the colours are only the beginning.

I’m not trying to turn a horoscope description into a sculpture. I want to show the woman I see behind each star sign.

She Has Her Own Name

In my fairy world, each of the twelve Star Sign Fairies has her own fairy name.

The Gemini fairy is called Twinsoul.

Her name is part of my little fairy world. But above all, she is a handmade Gemini Fairy in which you might recognise yourself – or a woman you know well.

A Little Sculpture – Only One of Its Kind

I shape and assemble every fairy individually by hand. The dresses, hair, wings and tiny details give each piece its own character.

What makes Gemini special is that two figures together create one Gemini character.

That means no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

I may create another Gemini fairy, but there will never be another one exactly like this.

This is a decorative fairy sculpture created for indoor display only – perfect for a shelf, mantelpiece, display cabinet or a special little place in the home where she can truly stand out.
